Red Earth Software releases ReplyMate 1.0 for Outlook

Carson City, NV - July 9, 2001 – Red Earth Software, developer of email management solutions, today announced the release of ReplyMate 1.0 for Outlook 2000. This new utility considerably lightens the email workload by enabling users to paste response templates into their emails. The template texts can be pasted into an email message by using hot keys and ReplyMate buttons in Outlook. The Outlook buttons automate the reply process even further by not only pasting the selected text, but also creating the email message.

ReplyMate saves users retyping frequently sent responses such as general sales information, order instructions and office directions. By using ReplyMate, users can reply to more emails in less time, and with less spelling mistakes. Moreover, by using shared texts this new product allows supervisors to exercise more control over the content of corporate emails. How does it work?
Users can store responses by entering text directly in ReplyMate, or by copying existing texts from other applications into ReplyMate using the ‘copy’ hot key. To use a stored text in an e-mail message, users can hit the ‘paste’ hot key and select the text they wish to paste. The text is then automatically pasted into the email message.

Integration with Outlook 2000
ReplyMate adds ‘New’, ‘Reply’, and ‘Forward’ buttons to the Outlook toolbar. By clicking on these buttons ReplyMate not only pastes the selected text, but also creates the appropriate message. The newly created reply message will include the recipient’s name and email address, and if an Outlook contact is selected while clicking on the ReplyMate ‘New’ button, the new email message will include the Contact’s name and email address. A ‘Hot Paste’ button is also included which activates a drop down list of frequently used texts for easy access.
