Q: How do I change the order of texts in the Text List Pane?
A: If you wish your texts to appear in a certain order in the Text List
Pane, you can use the Category field to do this. Simply enter a number
in the Category field for each text, so that when you sort on Category,
the texts will appear in the order you specified.

Q: I cannot replace an attachment.
A: When replacing an attachment, 'Exact Match' is ticked by default as
a safety precaution. This means that you must enter the exact name including
the extension of the file, i.e. brochure.doc instead of brochure (not
case sensitive). If you do not want an exact match, you can untick this
option.

Q: Why is Format > HTML or Rich Text grayed out?
A:You cannot directly change rich text to HTML and vice versa. To do this,
you must first convert the text to plain text and then convert the text
to the desired format.

Q: Sometimes certain options are grayed out (Dis/Connect to Shared
Folder, Spell Check, Font, Paragraph, Auto preview, etc.)
A: This is because certain options relate to certain pane views. For example
for Spell Check, Font and Paragraph to be available, the Text Pane should
be active. To Connect or Disconnect Shared Folders, the Folder List Pane
should be active. To enable or disable the Auto preview you must activate
the Text List Pane.

Q: When I paste a picture from Word the image is not displayed.
Firstly, pictures can only be used in HTML messages. Secondly, pictures
must be inserted, not pasted into HTML messages. This is because the HTML
message needs a link to a file since the picture is added dynamically.
When you paste an image into an HTML message, you will see a border with
a blank image. You must delete this and add the image by choosing Insert
> Picture.

Q: My picture is displayed empty with a red cross in it.
This can happen if you renamed, moved or deleted the picture that you
inserted into the text. Since the text is in HTML it dynamically adds
the picture to the text. You can either return the picture to its original
state, or delete the picture and insert a new one pointing to the right
file.

Q: When I use the hot keys or Outlook buttons, nothing happens.
A: The hot keys and ReplyMate Outlook buttons will only work if ReplyMate
is running. To see if ReplyMate is started, check if ReplyMate is in the
system tray or task bar. If ReplyMate is not there you can start ReplyMate
by double-clicking on the ReplyMate icon on the desktop, by choosing Start
> Programs > ReplyMate or by opening Outlook.

Q: I get a Windows Installer error when trying to install ReplyMate.
A: If you get an error message informing you that you must install a
later version of Windows Installer, it means that you have not installed
service pack 1 for Outlook 2000, or there was a problem with the update.
Microsoft has more information on their website about how
to apply service pack 1, and what to do if this error message appears
even after
you have installed service pack 1.
